To The Editor:
An article published Jan. 5, “Konover Renamed”, focused on the renaming of our firm from Konover Construction Corp. to KBE Building Corp. as we celebrate half a century in business.
While we appreciate the coverage of this important milestone and the additional perspectives on the branding pros and cons of our new name, we want to make sure a far more important 50th anniversary initiative is not overlooked.
Another way we are celebrating our golden anniversary is by launching “50 Ways to Make a Difference.”
This is an exciting new program to give back to the communities in which we work and live.
From these communities, we plan to select and help support 50 local outreach projects focused on community improvement initiatives and services for children, education and seniors (see 50 Ways program, www.kbebuilding.com.)
While we are proud of our 50 years in business and our new name, we are even more enthusiastic about the ways in which our 50 Ways program will help the many men, women and children who surround us day in and day out.
