Farmington-based KBE Building Corp. is pursuing LEED gold certification for the $2.1 million Hartford TD Bank branch completed in December.
The Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design certification is given out by the U.S. Green Building Council to provide verification that a building was designed and built using aspects of efficient environmental health conservation strategies.
The two-story Hartford branch is located at 280 Trumbull St with banking services located on its ground floor.
KBE has already received LEED gold certification for the $2 million Manchester TD Bank Branch office opened in March 2012.

KBE has 20 other projects which are either LEED certified or in the process of certification.
