Kansas insurance regulators will hold a public hearing Monday into Hartford health insurer Aetna Inc.’s proposed $7.3 billion buyout of Coventry Health Care Inc., The Wichita Business Journal reports.
The Kansas Insurance Commission is scrutinizing the deal because part of Aetna’s proposed acquisition, announced in August, would include the purchase of Coventry Health Care of Kansas Inc., BizJournals.com reports.
