Aerospace and distribution manufacturer Kaman Corp. said Friday it intends to acquire Washington-based Northwest Hose & Fittings Inc. to expand its fluid power product segment.
Northwest, founded in 2000, will give Kaman a strong presence in key markets it currently does not serve and increase the Bloomfield company’s technical expertise, said Kaman President Steve Smidler. The annual sales from the unit is expected to be $8 million.
Northwest distributes hydraulic hoses, fittings, adapters, and couplers to industries like metals, agricultural, industrial machinery, and equipment. The company has four locations in Washington and Idaho.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
