Bloomfield aerospace-industrial manufacturer Kaman Corp. won a contract to supply composite components for Bombardier Inc.’s latest version of its Learjet business aircraft.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Kaman’s Composites Division will manufacture composite passenger entry and over-wing exit doors for the Learjet model 85, a new mid-sized business jet built primarily from composites that features advances in aerodynamics, structures and efficiency. Â
Kaman will build the doors at its facility in Darwen, Lancashire, England.
Meanwhile, Kaman set a regular quarterly dividend of 14 cents a common share to be paid on April 4, to shareholders of record on March 21.
