Bloomfield aerospace manufacturer Kaman Aerosystems received a $24 million contract extension from Texas-based Bell Helicopter to manufacture skin and skin-to-core parts for Bell’s commercial helicopters.
The three year contract extension is a continuation of a program begun in 2010, as the scope of Kaman’s relationship with Bell has grown.
All the parts are manufactured at the Bloomfield facility of parent company Kaman Aerospace Group.
Kaman was founded in 1945.
