Bloomfield aerospace manufacturer Kaman Corp. said it has signed a $40 million contract with General Dynamics Canada to remanufacture and upgrade four Super Seasprite helicopters.
The company revealed in late October that it was negotiating a deal with General Dynamics.
The aircrafts are owned by the Peruvian Navy. The work also includes supporting the operation of a fifth helicopter.
Kaman said the work will also provide additional long-term service and support revenue.
