Bloomfield manufacturer-distributor Kaman Corp.’s buyout of Washington fluid power components maker Western Fluid Components Inc. is complete.
Kaman still didn’t say Wednesday what it paid for Western, whose annual sales of some $11 million in four locations covers hydraulic and industrial hose assemblies, custom kits and value-added services to marine, wood products, aerospace, agriculture, mobile equipment and industrial markets.
Kaman aired its intent for Western on Aug. 1. Western has 20 employees.
In July, Kaman said it would acquire Ohio Gear & Transmission in Eastlake, Ohio. In late May, the company announced plans to buy Northwest Hose & Fitting, another fluid power company.
The addition of Western Fluid expands Kaman’s network of stores selling Parker Hannifin fluid connector products to 17.
In addition to distributing industrial goods, Kaman makes aeroparts.
