Bloomfield aerospace and industrial parts distributor Kaman Corp. said it has signed an agreement to acquire a Washington-based distributor of fluid power components.
Western Fluid Components has four locations, 20 employees and annual sales of approximately $11 million. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
It’s the second Washington acquisition Kaman has announced this year. In late May, the company said it intended to buy Northwest Hose & Fitting, another fluid power company.
And earlier this month, Kaman said it would acquire Ohio Gear & Transmission in Eastlake, Ohio.
The addition of Western Fluid expands Kaman’s network of stores selling Parker Hannifin fluid connector products to 17.
Neal J. Keating, Kaman’s CEO, said the company intends to remain active in acquiring companies to expand its business and its geographic footprint.
