Real estate broker and lease adviser Jones Lang LaSalle named former Pfizer Inc. officer Alejandro Kaisin its new vice president for strategic sourcing and procurement, based in Stamford.
Kaisin is one of three recent appointments at Jones Lang LaSalle.
Kaisin has 20 years of international experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain corporate services and facilities management.
He most recently was vice president of corporate services and business operations at New York drug giant Pfizer, which has research and development operations in Groton.
At Jones Lang, Kaisin will develop, lead and execute commodity sourcing strategies for local, regional, and national initiatives within the firm’s rapidly growing biopharma and life sciences practice.
He has a BS degree in industrial engineering from the University of Buenos Aires as well as an MBA Â from the Instituto para el Desarrollo de la Empresa Argentina (IDEA).
In 2010, Alejandro was awarded National Hispanic Corporate Achiever of the Year by the National Corporate Achievers Association (NHCA) in the United States for his accomplishments and contributions in fostering diversity and inclusion across Pfizer.
Kaisin will report to Marc Campbell, senior vice president, procurement in Stamford.
The firm also named Suzanne MacLennan its Americas Director, lease administration, based in Pittsburgh, and George Wittmann its senior vice president for technical operations, based in the New Jersey office.
