Q&A:
What do you do in your current job? I deliver boutique risk advisory services to highly successful individuals.
What are your goals in your current job? I focus on my client's financial security so they have peace of mind and can focus on their life passions.
What's your biggest passion? My biggest passion is giving my community more than I take. I firmly believe to whom much is given much is required.
What are your future professional aspirations? I would like to change professions. I have been in sales for 15 years; my next endeavor is transitioning out of production and into operations. I am seeking a chance to launch a more meaningful, exciting and potentially challenging career.
How are you involved in the community? I believe I can improve the world by serving, mentoring, supporting and nurturing the communities where I live and conduct business. It is my duty to help in whatever capacity needed.
What do you hope Greater Hartford will be like in 10 years? To improve the financial stability of many of its residents. When parents are struggling to pay for essentials such as housing, food, education, health care and childcare, it can cause strain and anxiety that affects the children's healthy growth and development. Much of the work I do in the community supports this dream. As an energetic and vigorous member of United Way's Women Leadership Council, facilitator for community conversations on the Affordable Care Act and a budget and student success coach I am playing an active role in fulfilling this dream for Greater Hartford.
