A marketing business that advertised corporate secrecy tactics purportedly capable of shielding assets “from capricious federal judges and any government agency” has been hit with a civil contempt order.
U.S. District Judge Stephen Limbaugh issued the order against Asset Protection Group and its operators, who were spotlighted in a February USA Today story as part of a mini-industry that promotes some U.S. states as secrecy rivals of traditional offshore havens.
