Christine E. Bromberg, a partner at law firm Robinson + Cole, has been elected board chair of Junior Achievement of Southwest New England.
Bromberg, who focuses on tax law, has been on the financial literacy nonprofit’s board since 2007.
Meanwhile, Edward B. “Ted” Whittemore, a partner at Murtha Cullina focusing on corporate and securities matters, has joined JA’s executive committee. He has been on its board since 2004.
JA has also added two new board members.
They include Jen Rizzotti, who has been the women’s basketball coach at the University of Hartford for the past 14 years, bringing her team to six NCAA tournaments. Laura Nigro is second vice president of auto product and litigation defense counsel at Travelers and an adjunct business professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
