Jobless claims hike

According to the U.S. Department of Labor, 337,000 Americans filed for unemployment insurance benefits for the first time in the week ending Oct. 13. That’s an increase of 28,000 from the previous week. The 4-week moving average was 316,500, an increase of 6,000 from the previous week’s revised average.
