Jeweler Supports Children’s Charity Ball

Robert La Perla, owner of La Perla Fine Jewelers in Blue Back Square in West Hartford, was honored for his longtime support of the Bridge Family Center in West Hartford at its annual gala to benefit children and families. La Perla has donated valuable items for the ball’s auction since its inception in 2000, including an 18K gold cocoon and diamond bracelet this year. The Children’s Charity Ball was held at the Hartford Golf Club on Jan. 24 and raised about $150,000 for Bridge programs.
