Rockville Bank Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Joseph F. Jeamel has stepped down from his position.
Jeamel, who previously announced that he would retire by June 30 of this year, will be replaced by Christopher E. Buchholz and Richard J. Trachimowicz, who are both executive vice presidents of the bank.
Jeamel will continue to be a director of Rockville Bank until his term expires at the company’s 2011 annual meeting.
Jeamel’s exit will soon be followed by the departure of long-time Rockville Bank Chief Executive Officer William J. “Bill” McGurk, who announced last year that he will retire from the company at the April 2011 annual meeting.
