Wealth management and investment firm Janney Montgomery Scott said it has hired a five-man team of industry veterans from Merrill Lynch to work from its West Hartford office.
The former Merrill team, which has more than $900 million under management, includes Robert Black, Ned Manuel, Ed Blumenthal, Bob Borkowski and Malcolm Berman.
Janney is based in Philadelphia and has offices in 17 states, including eight in Connecticut.
