IVX Health is opening up two new infusion centers in the state this year for people with complex chronic conditions, the company said, including a new location in Glastonbury this week.
IVX Health, an infusion and injection therapy center headquartered in Tennessee, announced this week it would be opening two new facilities in the state: IVX Health Glastonbury at 119 Hebron Ave., Unit B, Glastonbury, on Wednesday, Aug. 31; and IVX Health Orange at 263 Boston Post Rd., Orange, in the fourth quarter of the year.
According to IVX Health, the infusion centers help treat adult and pediatric immunocompromised patients with multiple sclerosis, Crohn’s disease, rheumatoid arthritis and other complex chronic conditions. The company currently operates more than 60 centers in 22 metropolitan areas across the country. The company said it expects to have more than 70 infusion centers by the end of 2022.
According to the company, the centers feature “patient-focused amenities” during sessions including private suites, large leather recliners and flat screen TVs.
