Naugatuck-based Ion Bank recently announced a new hire and a promotion.
Diane M. Dornfried has been hired as a vice president, mortgage originator. Dornfried will primarily support the Meriden and Southington markets, assisting customers looking to purchase, refinance or get a home equity line of credit. She most recently was a mortgage originator for Collinsville Bank.
Kalim Jan has been promoted to senior vice president, treasurer. Jan will be responsible for investment portfolio management, interest rate risk analysis and will serve as a member of the asset liability committee.
Jan has been employed at Ion Financial since 2013, starting as a credit analyst and then taking on higher positions within the company.
