An investor has purchased a Hamden mixed-use property that includes flex office-warehouse space and two music venues for $2.8 million, according to property records.
Spring Glen Business Center LLC, controlled by James Huffman, acquired the property at 295-325 Treadwell St. in mid-April.
The 6.53-acre property includes a 45,072-square-foot office-warehouse building with 15 flex spaces, a 7,520-square-foot building housing the Space Ballroom, and a 4,116-square-foot building occupied by The Cellar on Treadwell.
Huffman said the fully leased property has 21 tenants and also provides storage space for his contracting business. He said he plans to retain the existing tenants. Huffman is vice president of commercial real estate at Farnam Realty Group and had managed the property for the past two years.
The seller was Foxtrack LLC, controlled by Guilford-based David D’Atri, who acquired the property in 2018.
The buildings were constructed in 1968. The property was appraised at $1.89 million and assessed at $1.33 million in 2024.
