Hartford-based investment advisory firm Bradley, Foster & Sargent Inc. has announced that its managing director, Galan Daukas, has been elevated to president and chief executive officer.
According to the company website, the $6 billion investment management firm provides investment management services to individuals, families and institutions in 44 states.
Daukas, according to his LinkedIn pages, joined Bradley, Foster & Sargent as its managing director in Oct. 2019. Daukas, a Weston resident, was president and CEO of People’s United Advisors from 2013 to 2019 and before that was the executive vice president of the Washington Trust Co. from 2005-2013.
