Investment firm acquires C&M Corp.

Plainfield-based C&M Corp. a manufacturer of custom cable, coil cords and cable assemblies, has been acquired by The Watermill Group of Lexington, Mass., a private investment firm. 

With manufacturing capabilities in the United States and Mexico, C&M is a supplier of specialized cabling solutions to Fortune 500 companies in the industrial, medical, defense, multimedia, datacom and data collection industries.

Steven Karol, founder and managing partner of The Watermill Group, said in a statement, “We are excited about the addition of C&M to our investment portfolio. The company’s strength of engineering and component design in the manufacturing of custom cable and cable assemblies provide a strong value proposition to its customers.”
