InsurTech Hartford is teaming up with InsurTech NY to put on a joint conference next week focusing on the present and future of the growing insurtech field.
While InsurTech Hartford has hosted symposiums in the past, this marks the first time the organization is hosting one in partnership with InsurTech NY. The InsurTech Spring 2021 Conference will be held remotely online on March 10 and 11.
The conference will feature speakers representing insurance carriers, and brokers as well as entrepreneurs in the insurtech industry, according to InsurTech Hartford.
“Speakers will look ahead five years beyond the pandemic to understand how macroeconomic and psychographic forces are shaping the way consumers buy from and interact with insurance brands,” InsurTech Hartford said.
InsurTech Hartford, a networking and professional-services provider founded by AXA XL Vice President Stacey Brown, is separate from the Hartford InsurTech Hub program, though both entities are housed in the Stilts Building in downtown and hold programming and events at Upward Hartford’s space there.
Panel discussions and speeches will include topics like investing in insurtech companies, using artificial intelligence to improve underwriting and many others. General admission tickets are available for $275 until Wednesday. After Thursday the price of admission rises to $345.
