Illinois-based Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. said it has acquired insurance brokerage Cowles & Connell, which has operations in Meriden.
Cowles & Connell is a managing general agent and wholesale insurance broker, headquartered in Brewster, N.Y., with additional locations in New Jersey and Massachusetts. Those locations will continue to operate, Gallagher said.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
In March, Gallagher announced it had acquired Winsor’s L&R Benefits.
