South Windsor’s loss has been East Windsor’s gain as document shredding and storage company Infoshred LLC has settled into new, larger quarters.
The company has moved into its new digs, 70,000 square feet of space at 3 Craftsman Rd. in East Windsor, after moving from its old, smaller quarters on Nutmeg Road South, in South Windsor, said Infoshred owner Stacey DiPiazza.
The company will now have almost three times more room than it did in its former location, DiPiazza said. At the new site, Infoshred has “even more capacity to service its growing customer base,” she said.
The company also provides off-site document shredding services, as well as records storage for Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts, according to DiPiazza.
“The increase in space has allowed us to not only improve the efficiencies within our business office but also to provide even more storage and piece-of-mind to our clients,” she said.
Infoshred has more than 2,300 businesses utilizing the company’s services that includes destruction of everything from business records and microfiche to identification cards and pill bottles, DiPiazza said.
Roughly 20,000 square feet of the new building is dedicated to document destruction while 50,000 square feet holds secured archival storage, she said.
“Also included in the new facility is a comfortable viewing room where customers can actually see their records being safely destroyed,” DiPiazza said.
Infoshred has been in operation since 1993.
The company is a charter member of the National Association of Information Destruction, and maintains an NAID certification rating, for security, compliance, and customer service, according to company background information.
