Construction Resources, Nucor and Tucker Mechanical completed industrial leasing deals.
Three industrial lease deals totaling more than 100,000 square feet have been completed in Stratford and Plainville, according to commercial real estate brokerage Colliers.
Construction Resources Co. signed a long-term lease for about 32,000 square feet at 500 Lordship Blvd. in Stratford.
The property is owned by BHD CT Realty LLC, a company controlled by New Rochelle, New York-based investor Richard Balik. BHD purchased the building in 2021 for $6.1 million, according to Stratford property records.
Meanwhile, Nucor Rebar Fabrication Northeast LLC, which fabricates reinforcing steel used in commercial and infrastructure construction, signed a long-term lease for 70,000 square feet at 75 Neal Court in Plainville. Rocky Hill-based Tucker Mechanical, a commercial mechanical contractor, also renewed its lease at the property, according to Colliers.
The Plainville building, which has 200,000 total square feet, is owned by Neal Court LLC, which is controlled by Farmington-based Caico Construction. The company purchased the property in 2010 for $1.1 million, according to Plainville property records.
Colliers broker David Richard represented the landlords in both transactions. Keith Kumnick of Colliers represented Tucker Mechanical in its lease renewal.
