Glastonbury design engineering firm Ideas on Wednesday installing solar panels at its Glastonbury headquarters.
The installation is the first in Connecticut to feature solar panels from California firm Solyndra, which are designed to be lighter and easier to install.
The Ideaz installation took about five hours.
Ideaz was founded in 1999, helping clients bring their designs to market. The company’s customers include battery maker Duracell and sports equipment manufacturer Spalding.
