Hyperfine Inc., a Guilford-based company known for its portable MRI device, has named veteran medtech entrepreneur Scott Huennekens as executive chairman of its board.

Huennekens will work with the company’s leadership to prepare it for a public market offering, according to an announcement.

Huennekens’ leadership experience includes guiding companies through initial public offerings.
