Matthew T. Huber has joined People’s United Bank as senior vice president, market manager-health care financial services, specializing in providing financial services to healthcare companies across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. Huber will lead the focus on banking for-profit and nonprofit health care service companies across many segments.
Huber brings more than 19 years of commercial lending and managerial experience to his new role. He spent the last eight years with First Niagara Bank, building a similar healthcare banking business, and most recently at successor Key Bank, N.A., developing its enterprise healthcare strategy.
