Hubbell Inc. named Kennametal Inc. CEO Carlos Cardoso to a seat on the Shelton electrical-electronics product maker’s board. Hubbell also declared a first-quarter dividend.
Cardoso, 55, is a well-known board member of New Britain’s Stanley Black & Decker, and the Fairfield University Charles F. Dolan School of Business Advisory Council. He also sits on the board of Pennsylvania’s Allegheny Conference on Community Development; and the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute Council.
Based in the Pittsburgh suburb of Latrobe, Pa., Kennametal supplies tooling and industrial materials.
Hubbell will pay 45 cents a share on March 15 to class A and B common stockholders on record by March 1.
