Hubbell Inc. appointed ex-United Technologies Corp. attorney An-Ping Hsieh as vice president and general counsel for the Shelton electrical- and electronic-products maker.
Hsieh will serve as Hubbell’s lead attorney, reporting to Hubbell Chairman and CEO Timothy H. Powers.
Previously, Hsieh was UTC’s vice president, secretary and associate general counsel.
With Hsieh’s hiring, Hubbell’s current vice president and General Counsel Richard W. Davies moves into the a slot as senior vice president for legal affairs. Davies has more than 35 years legal experience principally in the corporate area at Hubbell.
