Connecticut insurance broker Katherine Houlihan is the newest president of the New Haven Manufacturers Association, the state’s biggest lobby of producers.
Houlihan, of Bristol, was elected Thursday night at NHMA’s annual meeting at Anthony’s Ocean View banquet hall in New Haven.
She succeeds Jeffery Paz, a People’s United Financial senior vice president who offices in downtown Hartford.
Houlihan is a partner in Insurance Provider Group, a Wethersfield insurance brokerage serving clients in manufacturing and other industries.
Also elected were: vice president, Jill Mayer, CEO of Bead Industries/Bead Electronics, in Milford; second vice president, Roy Jaoude, planning manager for Radiall USA Inc., in New Haven; treasurer, John Ermer, principal in New Haven/Fairfield accounting firm Beers, Hamerman, Cohen & Burger PC; and secretary, Marcy Minnick, chief operations officer, Excello Tool Engineering & Manufacturing Co. in Milford.
