An 83-room Holiday Inn in Southington near its border with Cheshire and Waterbury recently sold for $10 million.
Narayan Hotel LLC and Mosaic Hotel Management LLC sold the “Holiday Inn Cheshire” at 64 Knotter Drive to Stamford-based Ishi Inc. in a $10 million deal recorded by the town Dec. 14, according to town assessing records.
The 45,180-square-foot hotel on 2.4 acres last sold in 2017 for $4.55 million, according to assessing records. The hotel property is located across from a Home Depot, a short distance from an interchange of Interstate 84 near the borders of Southington, Cheshire and Waterbury.
Narayan and Mosaic both list Mitesh Patel, of North Andover, Massachusetts as principal. Both also list the Londonderry, New Hampshire address of the Sleep Inn Manchester Airport hotel as their mailing address. Attempts to reach Patel Tuesday were not immediately successful.
The buyer’s principals are Saroj Mahapatra and Manoj Mahapatra, who share an address in Stamford. An attempt to reach the buyers was not immediately successful.
