Farmington specialty lender Horizon Technology Finance Corp. said it kicked in $10 million as part of a recent $25 million venture loan for California’s mBlox Inc.
MBlox provides text messaging services for businesses to send alerts and marketing messages to customers, which is known as application-to-person (A2P) text messaging.
MBlox said in a statement that it will use the funds to support further growth.
Horizon netted $2.5 million in investment income during its most recently reported quarter, ended March 31.
