Honeywell buys East Lyme software firm Inncom

East Lyme’s Inncom International Inc., which makes software-based devices for hotels to manage energy usage, has been acquired by Honeywell International Inc. of Minneapolis for an undisclosed amount, MassHighTech.com reports.

Sales price wasn’t disclosed.

Inncom, located at 277 W. Main St. in the Niantic section, had 2011 sales of $24 million, has 115 employees, and has been in operation for more than a decade.

Honeywell says the acquisition will enhance its existing building management control systems offerings and expand its customer base, particularly in the Middle East, India and Asia Pacific.

Inncom’s clients include Hilton, Sheraton, Hyatt, St. Regis, Four Seasons, Radisson, Kimpton, and others, according to a Honeywell statement.

Inncom will be integrated into Honeywell’s Environmental & Combustion Controls business, a division of Honeywell Automation and Control Solutions.
