An Ohio-based in-home care provider says it will open a new location in the Hartford area next year.
FirstLight Home Care, a non-medical care provider with locations in Boston, North Shore and Medford, Mass., announced Wednesday it will open new offices in the Hartford area by early 2019. The company did not immediately release the office location.
The provider offers help for seniors, adults with disabilities, new mothers, or those recovering from surgery with daily tasks such as personal hygiene, errands and household duties in addition to dementia care and mobility assistance.
The providers say the demand for such services in Greater Hartford will increases as baby boomers age.
“The need for quality, non-medical home care services has never been greater,” FirstLight CEO and co-founder Jeff Bevis said.
Founded in 2010, the company said it’s steadily grown to operate 250 locations in 34 states.
