Connecticut is rising above Southern New England — in home prices, that is. In June, single-family home and condominium sales were down nearly 10 percent from June 2006, according to The Warren Group. In the same time period, median prices rose 4.2 percent, to $307,250 from $295,000. This June, Hartford County had 965 sales, down from 1,114 in 2006. In the same period, prices rose from $242,500 to $250,000. The price trends are representative of the state, except New Haven and Windham counties, which saw prices fall in the first half of the year.
