The median sale price of single-family homes in the greater Hartford region fell to $249,900 in April, a 1.98 percent decline from a year earlier, the Greater Hartford Association of Realtors reported.
The number of sales fell by 22.15 percent in April from a year earlier, while the inventory of homes for sale rose 5.42 percent and the average days a home spent on the market rose 10.94 percent.
But when compared with March, April sales were up 5.71 percent, and the average sale price rose 3.71 percent.
