Connecticut consumer and banking overseers will host another mortgage-assistance event Thursday in Waterbury, matching struggling homeowners with more than a dozen lenders and loan servicers who will try to help them plot financial remedies.
The state Office of the Attorney General and the state Department of Banking are sponsoring the day-long event from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Conference Center at CoCo Key, 3580 E. Main St. Parking is free.
Counselors from the federal Housing and Urban Development also will be on hand to assist borrowers.
