Hispanic Federation hires CT director

The Hispanic Federation has hired Ingrid Alvarez-DiMarzo to the newly created position of state director of Connecticut.

Alvarez-DiMarzo will work from Hartford to expand the federation’s presence in the state, including supporting member nonprofit agencies and coordinating advocacy efforts on behalf of Connecticut’s 500,000 Latino residents.

Most recently, she was executive director of the Hispanic Center of Greater Danbury.
