Rhode Island law firm Hinckley, Allen & Snyder LLP, with a Hartford practice, has opened a fifth Northeast regional office in Albany, N.Y., and has hired an ex-federal prosecutor to run it.
Boston attorney Michael L. Koenig, a former Justice Department prosecutor and a leading top white-collar crime lawyer, will run the Albany office in Omni Place, 30 South Pearl St., that Hinckley Allen says is its first outside New England.
Koenig previously was with Boston law firm Greenberg Traurig LLP. His presence will expand Hinckley Allen’s white-collar criminal, corporate and government investigations practice, said Managing Partner Marc A. Crisafulli, who is based in Providence.
Another former Greenberg Traurig lawyer, Victoria P. Lane, is joining Hinckley Allen as of counsel in the Albany office.
Hinckley Allen’s more than 130 attorneys are spread throughout the Northeast, including its other offices in Boston and Concord, N.H.
