Higher Collective, a retail cannabis brand started by a former Curaleaf executive, has opened its third adult-use dispensary in the state, the business announced.
Higher Collective New London opened Nov. 2 at 595 Bank St. The storefront is the third equity joint venture dispensary between Higher Collective, founded by former Curaleaf executive Patrik Jonsson, and his former multistate operator employer Curaleaf, which is based in Massachusetts. Â The business has previously opened dispensaries under the Higher Collective brand in Killingly and Willington in October.
Tori Garrett is Higher Collective’s social equity partner for the new dispensary, which will have about 20 employees. The new shop will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Higher Collective plans to open its Hartford dispensary, on the same lot as Parkville Market, later this month. The company expects to open three more dispensaries, also through equity joint venture partnerships, in 2024.
