Hartford HealthCare has opened its 24th Connecticut GoHealth Urgent Care.
The latest site in Granby marks the fifth location to open in 2022.
The new center – located at 7 Mill Pond Road – is aimed at providing local communities more affordable healthcare than higher-cost venues like a hospital emergency department. The center will provide treatment for non-threatening illnesses and injuries, on-site X-ray services, sports physicals for children and COVID-19 testing.
Of HHCs 24 urgent care center locations, 15 are in Hartford County. The Granby opening follows the opening of sites this year in Miflord, Hamden, Branford and Newington.
The new center will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Fridays and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.
