More than 16,000 employees and residents at the University of Connecticut Medical School and its teaching affiliate hospital Hartford HealthCare can text away, now that they have a new communication platform.
California-based TigerText said it recently added the two institutions to its client roster of approximately 2,000.
The company’s platform allows doctors and others to share records, X-rays and to schedule personnel duties through smart phones, tablets and PCs.
Hartford HealthCare will deploy the app at Hartford Hospital, Hospital of Central Connecticut, MidState Medical, Windham Hospital and within its medical group.
