Hey, Hartford’s almost-18s, you can vote

Hartford’s registrars of voters is reminding city voters who will turn 18 by the Nov. 8 election are eligible to vote in the upcoming election primary on Sept. 13.

Election rules do allow them to vote on local referendums, town Committee primaries or participate in caucuses.

Currently, Confirmation of Voter Residence documents will list 17-year-olds at the end of the Official Enrollment List with a designation of their party affiliation, date of their 18th birthday, and the tag “Not yet 18.”
