Gov. Ned Lamont on Saturday morning released a report detailing specific rules that eligible businesses must follow in order to reopen starting May 20.
Â
The first phase of Lamont’s plan to reopen the economy will allow the following industries to begin to reopen: restaurants; offices; hair salons and barbershops; retail stores; and outdoor museums and zoos.
Â
Lamont said the decision to reopen during phase one rests with each individual business owner.
Â
The protocols were developed by Lamont and his staff, the Department of Economic and Community Development, in consultation with legislators and recommendations made by the Reopen Connecticut Advisory Group.
