Helix Therapeutics, a Cheshire-based start-up company born out of the Yale University School of Medicine, will receive financial assistance from Connecticut Innovations through its Pre-Seed Support Services Program. The funding will help Helix, a company pursuing therapies for HIV/AIDS and genetic diseases, such as sickle cell anemia, develop a business plan that will focus the company’s growth strategy. The Pre-Seed Support Service Program helps high tech entrepreneurs develop companies in the state.
