The American Heart Association’s Wallingford facility was honored during a recent ceremony by the Connecticut Department of Public Health as the state’s first HEARTSafe Workplace. The agency established the HEARTSafe Workplace program to promote and recognize the efforts of workplaces to provide improved cardiac response and care to its employees and visitors.
