Austin, Texas-based Healthcare2U continues to expand its network of direct primary-care clinics in Connecticut with the addition of five new urgent-care clinics.
Healthcare2U has added the five “203 Urgent Care clinics” to its Heatlhcare2U Private Physician Network (PPN) of more than 70 affiliated clinics in the U.S. providing medical care, wellness and chronic disease management.
The five 203 Urgent Care clinics in Norwalk, Stratford, Southington and two in Waterbury began seeing Healthcare2U patients on Jan. 1.
Healthcare2U entered Connecticut last fall with two clinics in New Haven and one in North Haven.
Healthcare2U works with healthcare brokers and businesses of all sizes to provide customized group health plans to deliver direct primary care.
Through its membership-based model, no insurance claims are filed for members’ doctor visits against the company’s health plan. Employee members can access same-day or next-day appointments with a $10 visit fee for each clinic visit and members have access to telemedicine practitioners, Healthcare2U said.
