Health exchange info sessions start today

The state’s health insurance exchange, which is in the midst of an enrollment push, has scheduled public information sessions for residents to learn more about the plans it offers.

The Access Health CT events, known as Healthy Chats, begin Tuesday and will run through September.

Connecticut’s 13 health centers are getting $1.6 million from the federal government to hire workers to help enroll uninsured residents in the exchange, the creation of which was mandated by the Affordable Care Act. Those interested can register here.
